Professional & Medicolegal
For Professionals and Medicolegal Referrers
Specialist psychological and neuropsychological expertise for clinicians, multidisciplinary teams, organisations, solicitors and case managers.

Specialist Expertise for Complex Situations
Clinical complexity rarely sits neatly within one discipline. Effective support often depends on developing a shared understanding of what is happening for a person — bringing together cognitive, emotional, behavioural, relational and wider systemic factors.
We work alongside professionals across healthcare, social care, education, rehabilitation and legal settings, providing specialist psychological and neuropsychological input where presentations are complex, evolving or difficult to understand.
Our role is to bring clarity to that complexity. This may involve supporting clinical teams with formulation and decision-making, providing supervision or training, or contributing specialist opinion within medicolegal and rehabilitation contexts.

We provide individual and group clinical supervision for psychologists, therapists and other clinicians working with complex presentations.
Supervision can provide space to think carefully about formulation, intervention, risk, therapeutic process and the emotional impact of clinical work.
Our approach is reflective and collaborative, informed by extensive experience across NHS and independent practice. We can also facilitate structured reflective practice for multidisciplinary teams.
Specialist consultation can help when a presentation feels complex, unclear or difficult to understand within existing care pathways.
This may include acquired brain injury, stroke and neurological conditions, dementia and progressive cognitive change, mental capacity, neurodivergence, Functional Neurological Disorder and rehabilitation planning.
The aim is to develop a shared understanding of the person — their cognitive and psychological functioning, relationships, environment and wider care needs — and use this to support clearer clinical decision-making.
We provide Positive Behaviour Support-informed consultation for services supporting people with neurological conditions, neurodivergence, cognitive impairment and complex distress.
Rather than viewing behaviour in isolation, we consider what it may communicate about a person’s experience, needs and environment.
Consultation can support teams to understand patterns, identify contributing factors and develop preventative, practical and psychologically informed approaches to care and risk.
Learning & Development
Training, Workshops & Organisational Development
We provide bespoke training and workshops for professional teams and organisations working with neurological, neurodevelopmental and psychological complexity.
Sessions can be shaped around the needs of your service, combining clinical experience with applied psychological and neuropsychological understanding.
Understanding Neurological Change
Training can help teams develop greater confidence in understanding the relationship between the brain, behaviour, emotion and everyday functioning.
Topics can include brain–behaviour relationships, cognitive change, dementia and neurological conditions, as well as communication and behavioural change following acquired brain injury or stroke.
Working With People & Systems
We support teams to think beyond individual symptoms and consider the wider relationships and systems surrounding a person.
Training can include multidisciplinary formulation, supporting families and carers, and understanding the psychological impact of adjustment to sudden or progressive neurological illness.
Supporting Staff & Services
We provide reflective practice, staff support and facilitated debriefing for teams working in emotionally demanding environments.
These sessions create structured opportunities to reflect on difficult clinical experiences, understand their impact and support thoughtful, sustainable ways of working.
Neurodivergence at Work
ADHD, autism and other forms of neurodivergence can influence concentration, organisation, communication, sensory processing and cognitive load at work.
Consultation can help employers and professionals think practically about reasonable adjustments, communication, environmental demands and working practices that support the individual.
Neurological Conditions at Work
Acquired brain injury and long-term neurological conditions can affect memory, attention, fatigue, processing speed, communication and psychological wellbeing.
We can help individuals and organisations understand these changes and consider practical adjustments that support sustainable participation in work.

Our Approach to Professional Consultation
Our clinicians have extensive experience working across NHS Neuropsychology, Neurorehabilitation, Memory Services and Adult Mental Health.
We understand that professionals are often working within systems where demand is high, presentations are complex and there can be very little time to pause and make sense of everything that is happening.
Our role is to support that thinking — helping teams clarify formulation and strengthen decision-making while keeping both clinical evidence and the person’s lived experience in view.
We are particularly interested in how neurological, psychological, behavioural and relational factors interact, and what this means for individuals, families and the services supporting them.
